I got NVC case number and Invoice id

I am able to log in to the https://ceac.state.gov/IV/Login.aspx

I am bit confused at this thing. My form is pending because of this..SO kindly assist me.

First part is start your application.

Point 1.CHOICE OF ADDRESS & AGENT (DS-261)

As You may act as your own agent

If i am beneficiery.. and i am acting as my own agent.

Now, first confusion appears here In

Principal Applicant’s Information Section :: ??

In address name whose address should i mention

Petitioner or Beneficiery?.... as in note theres written that

"

Mail delivery is often unreliable in many parts of the world, so we strongly recommend that you
choose someone who has an address in the United States."

If i am acting as a Petiotioner as my own agent

Under applicant Info

Can i give my own address

AOS fee will be invoiced in 2-3 days. IV fee after they reviewed DS261..aprox 30 days.

if DS261 is showing completed, DO NOT RE-OPEN IT! it will reset 30 day countdown.

1) ONLY use internet explorer (IE)on any government website. They are not designed to work with any other browser and can have issues if you try.

2) At this point, at the NVC, the beneficiary is now the principal applicant because this is the stage where you apply for the visa

3) It doesn't hurt to make the petitioner the agent because it gives the NVC a US based address if they do send anything via snail mail - but as long as they have both emails, the chances of that are slim to none.

4) It takes from 2-6 weeks to review the DS-261 with an average of 30-40 days. Some people are lucky and get it in a week, most are not. Normally you will get an email saying it was attached to the case file and that your IV invoice is ready. Up to a week after that you should be able to pay the IV invoice and then send both packages to the NVC.

NLR, you really are a terrific help in this immigration process, I for one sure appreciate your help as I am sure many others have benefitted from it as well. My husband and I are FINALLY getting everything put together to submit to USCIS. Is too much info sometimes better than not enough? I noticed that some ppl sent in their I-864. Is that necessary when submitting the I-130, or just when you are ready for "Round 2".?

Wishing everyone well. I am hoping that I don't have to come back here too much pleading for help. This website and the contributors are FANTASTIC!! Kudos to all who have been so thorough and helpful.
