I really did not know where to post this.

I'm currently holding 10 year green card since 2012.

I used to have an old green card which was good for only two year.

My OLD green card is stolen today along with my purse.Well I was carrying the old green card in my purse, but I have the good one at home..

So do u think I have to replace the good one ?

Do the old and new card have the same info?

Can they do anything with the old card?

When I call the USCIS,there is no option for such question,u can't get a hold of anybody anyway?

Thnx

I'm pretty sure you're supposed to destroy the old one when you get the new one. That said, it is an expired document. I suggest doing nothing.

File a police report and let the USCIS know. Keep track of your credit score. Someone could easily steal your identity with this. Do not treat it lightly. Your A# is on that card.

Your old card is expired, if you go and try to replace the current one, replacement is going to look completely identical. Not sure what would be the point.

Can they do anything - other than use it for identity theft (especially if you had other ID docs in the purse) - not really. It's expired, not going to affect your status in any way.
