No e-Notification for NOA1?

My fiance and I mailed in our Form I-129F and it was received at the Dallas Lockbox on the 5th of December.

Unfortunately due to a misunderstanding, we did not include a Form G-1145, therefore we won't receive an e-Notification.

I'm wondering if it would be at all possible to call USCIS, and ask if the form has been accepted and assigned a Service Center, or if we will just need to wait for the NOA1 hardcopy to receive that information.

Any help is appreciated!

Once you receive your NOA1 in the mail it will include a case number. You can sign up on the USCIS case status page to receive further updates via text or email - RFE, NOA2, etc. Unfortunately you won't receive any digital notification with NOA1 since you didn't include the G-1145.

Agree. Unfortunately, you do not yet have a reference/receipt number to correspond to your petition. Such a number would likely be essential in identifying your paperwork from the mountain of documents likely received daily at the USCIS Service Center or Lockbox.

When I go to the USCIS site to create an account to receive those notifications, under "User Type" am I supposed to select Petitioner Filing for Relative or Petitioner Filing for Self? I'm not sure which one to choose since it's a K1 and he isn't technically my relative yet lol

Petitioner Filing for Relative - technically they consider your fiance family, so it would be a relative by extension.

Ahh, thank you! I think I selected filing for self by mistake. Do you know if I'm able to go back and change that in my USCIS account?

Disregard that. I figured out how to do it :) For some reason it wasn't letting me save the update to my profile, but it finally went through.
