Hi, I won the dv lottery for 2015. My cn is OC17** (fingers crossed for an interview). Me and my husband got married feb 2014.i put him on my application form. But he has found out that he will not be able to enter the USA to live for another year or longer. Is it possible for me to remove his name from the application?

(I can still and will still enter in 2015.)

Or what steps can I take? Will It affect my chances or my application in anyway? I am the primary applicant.

Thanks

Thank you. I have already filled in my form for processing and everything. I can't remember what I wrote. Should I call them? Will it delay my processing if they have to re open my forms?

Thanks again

You could leave your husband on the application and if you are staying in the US but he has to finish something out he could travel and trigger the green card . DV applicants get a longer period to establish residence in the US. If he stays behind the process to apply for him as an LPR takes years.

This will not be over quickly. You will not enjoy this.
