Had medical on 14th November and they received the results the following Friday (21st)

Date of issue of the appointment letter was 26th November so only three working days to get the appointment letter issued! To say I'm stunned is an understatement but so excited at the same time!!!

Just a quick question about the affidavit of support. It says on the London embassy site that an I-864 is not required when applying for a fiancé visa which is what I'm going for. This just doesn't seem right can anyone confirm? Getting one is no problem my fiancé is coming over to Scotland next week for Christmas so can bring with her prior to my interview but I ought the affidavit of support was a prerequisite in every case?

I 134 or self sponsor

I did look at the I-134 which seems a bit less complicated to complete. I guess there's no harm in bringing it to the interview with me!

So when's the appt?

18th December.

Flying down night before and staying in hotel. Don't want to risk the early flight from Glasgow that's cutting it way too fine.
