Been over a month since ELIS shows case closed - no GC

The ELIS status page shows case closed, GC produced, yet we have never gotten the card. Why is that? Tried calling USCIS and it's a frustration in pressing buttons.

CR-1 for my wife
USCIS Stage
11/19/2013: I-130 Sent
11/20/2013: I-130 Received
11/20/2013: I-130 NOA1
11/22/2013: I-130 NOA1 Hard copy
04/22/2014: I-130 Expedite Request
04/23/2014: I-130 Expedite Response: Denied
05/09/2014: I-130 Status Update "your Alien Registration Number was changed relating to your I130" at 9:15am
05/09/2014: I-130 NOA2 (approved) at 3pm
05/14/2014: Case sent to NVC
NVC Stage
06/17/14: Case number and IIN assigned
06/17/14: AOS fee invoiced
06/17/14: Notice from NVC containing case number and IIN
06/17/14: DS-261 available and completed
06/18/14: AOS fee paid
06/19/14: AOS fee withdrawn from my bank account
06/20/14: AOS fee shows paid
06/20/14: AOS package sent to NVC
06/23/14: AOS package arrived at NVC
07/01/14: Sent expedite request to NVCExpedite@state.gov
07/17/14: Expedite request approved, file "immediately forwarded"
07/24/14: Received Expedite Request approval letter in mail
07/28/14: DS-260 available and completed
07/28/14: DS-2001 completed
07/28/14: Emailed AIT with both DS-260 confirmation and DS-2001
07/30/14: Interview scheduled
08/11/14: Schedule medical exam

Well, USPS lost it. Replacement card is $450...ridiculous, and angry.

CRIS/USCIS web portal should have given you the tracking #, when yer logged in with a username/password, for the IOE casefile # issued from ELIS, and then can track the shipment at usps.com

if it was 'nix'ed back via usps to USCIS, it's sitting in a holding facility in Texas. You see any shipping info with USPS based on the tracking #, or no?

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

If you never recieved it you should not be paying to get a new one. Get notification of lost package by USPS.

If you never recieved it you should not be paying to get a new one. Get notification of lost package by USPS.

This is what I can figure out so far:

1) USCIS had the tracking number but it wasn't showing in the ELIS system, I had to call to get it.

2) The tracking number shows it's delivered, USCIS said it's not their problem, and any claims need to go through USPS.

3) USCIS will charge $450 for a replacement, will USPS pay for it? Probably not. The package was insured for $100.

4) I have case generated with USPS and they're supposed to try to track the package down IF it was delivered to the wrong address, but if it's just lost then I'm SOL and must file I-90 for a replacement card.

Both USPS and USCIS suck, and they suck bad.

CRIS is not ELIS

Both are USCIS, however

when you get IOE # from ELIS, register a case portfolio thingie with CRIS online, and at least get the tracking #, then see where it went. If it was nixed back, it will have more moved after attempted delivery date, to a facility north of Dallas, Texas.

and if it's there - you can put in a service request to have it resent.

USPS' local office manager called back and said they delivered it. I've gotten other people's mail before and I know we never received the card since a replacement is a shocking $450!

Had to submit an I-90 online and mail in the application with passport autobiographical page today, plus $450...

I hate the USPS and USCIS.

These things should require signature proof of delivery.
