Hey guys,

Just so I'm clear on the correct AOS fee turning to N/A.....are you referring to the AOS portion that's labeled on the DS-260 page or are you talking the AOS portion that is located on the main fee's page? The main page shows I paid the fee and the DS-260 page shows N/A. I don't know whether to get excited yet or not. Lol

Thank you,

James

A photocopy wouldn't suffice as they need an original signature. So, if you can't find it by the interview, just print a new set out and sign it. The date shouldn't matter

Oh man - thank you so much for the reply Saylin! I was envisaging all sorts of crazy scenarios in my head. I know we printed out the I864EZ a few times so I have an older copy than the original that we submitted.

I wouldn't suggest older copies. If you can't find the one that you copied and sent by EP, then just print a new one and sign it. And if any information has changed since you sent it in, update it while you're at it ;)

There is a way to request " expedite " the case via submitting via email but if I remember baby is due in Feb. And he process will take longer. I m on crutches due to hip related injury, and per medical advice , temporarily total disable. At one point I thought to apply for "expidite " the case, I prepared all the paper work but when I saw what is happening to others I refrained myself because the process is like that:

Apply on line with all necessary favorable and relevant documents.

The case will be forwarded to the related embassy/ consulate( for us Islamabad )

They will review the case..... When ???? Only they know.

They(Islamabad ) will communicate to NVC

NVC will then (WHEN ???) inform you.

Usually they will sent/ return you to present these packages ( AOS and Civil documents) to Interviewing officer.
