Hello all

Im not sure if this is the right section.

I finally received my visa for the family immigration , but the info on the Immigrant Data Summary is wrong (my father's & mother's name)

Shall i send it back to the embassy or it's not big deal and can be changed later when i go to the US

Thanks

Is your visa based on a family member that is a US citizen or a permanent resident green card holder?

Hey! No worries! I actually just had the same thing happen to me because they mixed up my mother's first name with her maiden name. I emailed the embassy about it and they said it can be changed during the inspection by a CPB officer at my POE.

So it's no big deal :) The important thing is that everything on the visa foil itself should be correct.

But if it gives you some comfort, you could just email or call your embassy as well.

Good luck with everything!
