So short and sweet cause I'm on my way to go overnight the letter, I can't make the bio appointment scheduled for the 19th. Do I just tick the box that says " request to reschedule " or attach a letter as well?

TIA

You tick the box to request the reschedule. Just be aware that you cannot choose the new date. They will assign you a new date according to their timeline.

No, I couldn't go to the appointed date because my husband is in the military and they denied his one day leave request even tho he is my ride there.

So my second question is even if it gets delivered on Monday, I have fulfilled my part, right ?

You should also call the 1-800 number and have them annotate your file that you have requested a rescheduling.

I wouldn't rely on your husband being your ride next time though, look for alternate transportation. The biometrics is pretty important and delaying it too much will delay your approval.

So I just got off the phone with the military hotline, holy hell I forgot how rude they are. ANYWAYS. for the future Reference for anyone else going through this, I was told it doesn't matter when they get it as long as I sent it before the actual date. They just can't guarantee when I will be getting another appointment.

You can by the taxi to there?Or ask your neighbor or your hunband's friends to help you?

The assigned location is three hours away, and all of our friends, husband included are tied up in a squadron wide thing. Hence the leave denial

So quick summary, I couldn't make the biometric, so last Thursday I over nighted my request form, called uscis and the lady on the line said as long as I have mailed my reschulde request before the actual date I should be fine.

I call again this morning, the gentleman on the phone informs me that there is no request or information of any form he can give me, and he suggests I show up at the biometric appointment at the assigned date. Alright, fair enough, push comes to shove I will figure something out, but then when I asked him if me taking the copy to the appointment would be enough he said he has completely no clue. So, would taking a copy in a situation like this suffice ?
