NVC RECEIVE

I already received my NOA2 (I-797), and still waiting for the NVC reciept.

i have waited almost 2 months and sent a email to see what is going on at the NVC.

now all of a sudden I get a text message notifying me again of the NOA2.

how long does it take for them to generate

USCIS Receipt Number: ###############

Case Number: ####

invoice ID Number: #############

If i was you, i would call NVC. Calling them is tedious (thats what i read) but from what i read, the more you call the faster they process (we are not yet in NVC, i am telling you from the knowledge that i gained reading other people and i may be wrong)

call them.... for all you know they could have long sent it to the embassy or, it is in Administrative Processing at the NVC

I called yesterday (Friday) and from start to finish it was 50 minutes until I spoke with someone but, she told me my case arrived only a few hours earlier, gave me my case number and such. Was quite polite. If you are polite they are likewise. They will ask you your full name, beneficiary full name and date of birth and receipt number you will give them on your NOA2

i just sent another email ... few days later get my NVC CASE NUMBER and INVOICE ID NUMBER ..

i went to pay my fees.. but got this message

so then after reading a a bit more... i had to choose an agent.

so i signed up using the DS261 online.

i am assuming after the 3-5 day wait , i will be able to pay my fee's
