Daily Caller: Al Sharpton 'May Have Chosen Next Attorney General'

Washington circles are buzzing with speculation that civil rights activist the Rev. Al Sharpton had a hand in choosing President Barack Obama's most likely nomination to be the next U.S. attorney general, New York federal prosecutor Loretta Lynch.
The Daily Caller bluntly stated, "An MSNBC host [another of Sharpton's vocations] may have just chosen the next attorney general of the United States."
A pattern of recent meetings between the principals involved lends credence to the claim.

Sharpton met with Obama at the White House the day after the midterm Election Day, but administration officials would not confirm the meeting agenda included a discussion of who might fill the shoes of departing Attorney General Eric Holder.
In a press conference following the meeting, Obama would say only, "We have a number of outstanding candidates who we're taking a look at now," adding that a nomination would come "in due course," The Hill reported.
"I'm confident that we'll find somebody who is well-qualified, will elicit the confidence of the American people, will uphold their constitutional obligations of rule of law and will get confirmed by the Senate," The Hill reported that Obama said.
The Daily Caller noted that Sharpton met with Lynch, 55, at her office in late August, along with Esaw Garner, the wife of an alleged New York Police Department brutality victim.

Tucker Carlson is seriously running out of material to write about. What we're saying here is - in a nutshell: Sharpton met with Lynch. Obama met with Sharpton. Obama is about to nominate Lynch to replace Holder as AG. Hence, Sharpton may have chosen the next AG. That is so dumb one doesn't even know what to say. But you right wingers gobble it up like candy anyways. It must be right on your intellectual level.

4 years ago I would've agreed with you. Now nothing surprises me when it comes to the current administration. They are so far out of touch with reality, it borders on mental illness.

The administration is acting not nearly as mentally ill as the right wing nutter outrage brigade that complains about it every minute of every day.

"Not nearly AS mentally ill"

Thanks for at least admitting that they are mentally ill. We seem to be in agreement. You've been agreeing with me a lot lately. I'm glad you're finally seeing the light. Let me know when you're ready to move Texas. I'll help you find a decent house.

You're assuming too much. It is true that a mentally healthy person is naturally not nearly as mentally ill as a mentally ill person. ;)

And why would I want to move to Texas? I've been there to visit and was glad when I was on my flight back home. I don't see Texas as an attractive destination - least of all for a move.

I guess Al Sharpton is lying.. Yes I guess anyone that would believe Al Shapton is "Dumb". Maybe it's the intellectual level of people that Believe Sharpton.

So Sharpton claims he is giving input into the selection of the next AG, but anyone that believes him is a dumb right wing intellectual case.

Are all the people in Ferguson right wing idiots ?

Oh somebody is dumb all right

God forbid you ever read past the headline. The below from your own source.

Update (3:17 p.m.): Sharpton sent a statement to Business Insider clarifying that he is not involved in the "decision making."

"We did not say we are in the decision making. We are in conversation to reach out to them to have meetings about what we want to see in a successor," said Sharpton. "I have personally spoken to Attorney General Eric Holder today to express my views that he was the best civil rights Attorney General in history."

They're lobbying the White House just as many other organizations lobby the White House - and Congress for that matter. SMH.

So Al Sharpton was influential in helping pick the next AG. Being allowed to give input is absolutely being involved in the process. So either way Sharpton lied.

Remember how all 0bolas friends ran away from photos and selfies with him before this election? Sharpton is like the where's Waldo of DC. Instead of looking for him, look for how many people hide their face when he's in the pic.
