Must Foreign Fiancee Sign & Send Original G-325A? [split topic]

Just received RFE. SO does anyone know if my fiance in the Philippines needs to sign and SEND me her original with signature or will the USCIS accept a copy that she will email me with her signature to send back to the USCIS in reply to the RFE?

For the original petition, all USCIS forms need to have an original signature.

I know of one person who got away with a scanned copy that their fiancee emailed to them, but I think that was probably the exception rather than the rule - I certainly wouldn't advise anyone to risk the RFE by sending scanned signatures.

Yes USCIS required originals of the G-325A and the Letter Of Intent to Marry. A 2X2 passport photo of your fiancee is also required with the I-129F.

For that phase of the process, yes, the beneficiary has to provide an original G-325A, and an original "Letter of Intent to Marry",

both originally signed and then (paper-)mailed out to you.

LATER in the process, you, the petitioner, will have to send an original I-134 (or I-864) Affidavit of Support back to the beneficiary,

usually with an updated LetterOfIntentToMarry (same as you filed before, but with new date), originally signed and then paper-

mailed to the benecificiary for taking to the interview.

Also, make sure the beneficiary sends you 2 original, U.S. style "passport" photo's in that package with the G-325A !
