Hey, just got interview confirmation, 9th December, yeyy!!

A little confused by the interview letter though. It says that I need to take all originals to interview including husbands (sponsor) tax returns etc, but then further down on the documents section where it gives the letter coded key It says that they have sent my documents to the embassy in the UK. So do I have to take everything AGAIN? Just want to make sure I take everything needed.

You don't have to take everything again. What you need most is passport, 2 2x2 photos, interview letter, ds260 confirmation page and courier instructions. However, most people do take original copies of everything submitted to nvc, just in case they get 'ahem' lost in transit. I plan to, plus a printed out copy of the Aos.

Your profile whats below your name here and flag says K3 to change go to your profile page click edit and select what you want to change. For timeline at top of page to the right your name scroll over it see all the options select My Timeline . Go there and you click edit and you update that also. It helps all of us with stats and when people always ask "how long does this take.....? " this is where we get our info. Welcome aboard.

I hadn't actually sent the email yet because it only changed to ready yesterday, was planning on calling and then emailing today but no need! The lovely lady called me!!

Quick question to the fellow members...

My wife has her visa interview in Mumbai on Dec 9. Can she get a fingerprints/biometrics done at Hyderabad? I see there are 5 Visa Application Centers to get your biometrics done in India, but was wondering if the biometrics should be done in the same city as the interview?

I have my interview on 12/8 at Mumbai embassy and i have scheduled for biometrics and medical at Hyderabad..It can be done at any of the 5 centers, not necessary to be done at same city as interview..

Another follow.....is the medical required before the biometrics? Or can the biometrics be done first?

I think medical is required before the biometrics as they ask to bring the medical reports to the bometrics..

The medical only be collected on the day of the interview.. for Biometrics they only ask for Passport photographs, Original Passport, copy of Passport, DS-260 confirmation, Interview Letter...

Just to note.. Consulate instruction is to do the medical first...

I'm sure this has been asked a bunch of times, so I apologize, but the tracking and ceac stuff confuses me Our status on ceac changed to "Ready." Does that mean it left NVC? Or that it arrived at the embassy? Thanks guys for your patience in answering!!
