They told me hubby that they are starting to schedule January from now. But I still think it's embassy dependent cuz on the other thread canadianmom reported that representative told her they are still giving dec dates. I guess we would know for sure by mid of next week. I know I feel so bummed myself. So I can just imagine what ur children must be going through!

Hi, on CEAC It shows In Transit but cant track it on DHL

To track u need to give it sometime. Usually from the time it leaves NVC a day or 2 before it may show up. In transit is all you care about watch for it to say Ready. Tracking through DHL really is not that reliable because you have no idea for sure thats your petition in that bundle.

Wait I don't understand….So there are no interviews for people with case complete from October in December for Australia???? :wow: ..

i mean if you look at the spreadsheet, i don't see anyone being scheduled for australia. I agree its a small sample set, but this is so weird. Also, I don't see major scheduling issues in previous month for australia. You can check the spreadsheet yourself. I think Suki in NY said they only schedule Immigrant visa interview once a week. Maybe i read it wrong. Thats why its taking so much time. :clock: I am really sorry to hear that msc13. I sincerely hope you can get an earlier date…though don't give up hope. Worst case scenario-- you get an interview date for january, you can call up and get an earlier date… … also, one has to say…we are OUT OF NVC….:devil::devil::devil: … i know its painful for you and the kids..but at least you don't have to deal with the operators at the NVC asking about case completes!!!! LOL :goofy::goofy::goofy::goofy::goofy:

Hi do you know about when are they giving appointments for Santo Domingo. I got CC on 10.31.14 and I still haven't received interview date.

I really have no idea if DR started or they are already done. Have you called NVC and asked them have they completed for December?

hi, is your cc email like this? or does it really say case complete?

All documentation necessary to complete the National Visa Center's processing of your case has been received. As soon as an interview date has been scheduled, the applicant, petitioner and attorney (if applicable) will be notified.

The applicant should NOT make any travel arrangements, sell property, or give up employment until the US Embassy or Consulate General has issued a visa.

The US Embassy or Consulate General may require additional documentation at the time of the interview.

Australia may be "open-minded" when it comes to assigning an earlier interview date. :star: I don't know.

I know the London Embassy is very "open-minded" for this.

The Montreal Consulate (Canada) is super "conservative" for giving you an earlier interview date. :dead: Trust me, I have tried. :bonk:

Hi AlaskaBound! I just logged on today and read your interview, thanks so much for making it long and detailed, that is super helpful! Now I am freaking out about his passport pics, they were taken August 6 (3 months today). Thanks for including the bit about the police certificate, that helps a lot.

We did the medical on Monday, not sure how it went since they don't give you the results but I'm guessing everything was fine. I wrote a super long review but haven't figured out where to post it yet, probably will post it with my interview review Friday.

Tuesday I got a call from my doctor's office in Winnipeg, I had a followup appointment booked for next Monday, the day after we get back. I booked the appointment a month ago. They called because they wanted to reschedule my appointment for this Friday, November 7 at 11am (10 eastern)... the EXACT same time as husband's interview appointment!!!! They would not give a reason, my guess is the doctor probably decided to make a long weekend of it since Tuesday is Remembrance day. When I questioned it, I got a lecture about how people have lives and the world doesn't revolve around me. I'm sure it was an overreaction but between the stress of having my life planned out in 5 minute increments for the last year and now a week to sit and do nothing but wait, I had a meltdown and spent most of Tuesday crying and pouting... :crying: the stress of a year of having my life put on hold and living on a schedule that is not my own all came out on Tuesday :crying: (FYI I feel much better now  )

So yesterday we decided to take a walk to the consulate just to see where everything is... It took 15 minutes to walk there, including about 7 minutes waiting for the hotel elevator so not bad at all. I was reading the times posted in the window when the security guard opened the door to ask if he could help us. There was nobody outside, it was early afternoon. I told him our interview was scheduled for Friday. He said to make sure to bring the loomis paper and no bags and we would be fine, said the doors open at 7:30. I told him our appointment isn't until 10. He said "you didn't hear it from me but around here things work on a first come, first served basis". Then I told him I was the USC and my husband was the one interviewing, asked if it was ok for me to come in with him. He said as long as I bring my US passport he would be sure to let me in. He was very nice, hopefully indicative of the rest of the staff inside.

Husband just called Medisys, they told him the results would be ready to pick up in about an hour. We are just across the street so will leave in about half an hour. He said it sounded like they were gonna start putting it all together after he called, like if he hadn't called they would not have started to work on it yet. It will feel so much better once we have that packet in hand, one more small victory on this long journey.

Good luck with your interview tomorrow. Btw, how many passport photos did you need for Medisys? I fly out on Tuesday to do my medical there.

Don't lose hope! Looking at the interview spreadsheet Australia usually has about 26-55 days from CC to interview, so I think you will still get a December interview. Australia only does them on Tuesdays, so even if you got the 23rd December, you could still make it for Christmas.

For some reason I have a feeling you will find out next week. In the past there were a few Australian interviews booked around the 10th/11th of the month. Although nobody know exactly how they do it at NVC, I still have hope you will get a December interview. Australia always seems to be one of the last countries to book interviews, so I don't think you have missed out just yet.

I agree. I think late next week NVC will probably book more December interviews.

What does Ready mean on visa status ? Ready to be sent to consulate??

It means the case file has arrived at the consulate.

I'm the USC petitioner. My wife is British (now a USC!!!), generally awesome, and amazingly patient.
