Interview pending for ROC

We had an interview for AOS too, I just tell Stuart that they can't believe anyone would marry him

We sent out paperwork in April, and then Stuart got a job offer across the country so we moved and changed our address. We did expect an RFE because our paperwork that we sent in April, no longer matched our new info at the end of May. We sent in the new evidence they requested, joint lease, bank accounts, utilities etc, with the new addresses, but now we have gotten a letter telling us we are being scheduled for an interview, and to bring additional evidence.

I'm stumped at what to bring. We don't go anywhere that we'd have tickets or something with our names on them, we don't know a soul in town that we didn't only meet in June or more recent, so no one here can prove anything via affidavit. I have pictures I took of him, and he has pictures he took of me, but we really have none together. Anyone who can come up with some evidence we haven't thought of and already sent?

Also, I live in a town that regularly shuts down from other towns due to weather, they close all access in and out of town, if this happens on interview day... what do we do? I read through 28 pages and tried using the search function, but there's not a lot that I could find really.

In regard to the weather shutdowns: If your town's administrators or police department has records of regular shutdown notices, or if you can have an official write you a simple "our city often shuts down ingress and egress because of inclement weather, and travel is prohibited" sort of note on official letterhead, it might be worth taking this letter in advance to an InfoPass appointment, handing it in, and standing there while they annotate your file.

In regard to evidence: Drastically overlooked are wills, medical powers of attorney, HIPAA releases, and similar documents. Even if you had these already in your old state of residence, it's crucial that you update them, for two reasons:

-- some states have verbiage peculiar only for that state, rendering outside-state wills invalid; and

-- these documents are invaluable for your lives, beyond immigration purposes.

If you don't have any wills at all yet, shop around for lawyers, or think about drafting them yourselves from state-specific templates that you can find (on legalzoom.com, nolo.com, or similar). Pay attention to the need to get them notarized, as may be required. When you have your final drafts ready, have a lawyer quickly look them over.

Note: I'm not a lawyer and am not intending to appear to practice law here. However, wills and the ancillary documents constitute outstanding ROC evidence and are priceless to have during life.

Thanks guys, I hadn't considered making a will, we have nothing of any value to put in one, but it might be worth it just for evidence sake. You can bequeath nothing to someone right?

I don't know what a hippa release form is, and we have no POA yet.. so thanks for those suggestions too. (off to google now)

We may need to stay in a hotel longer than that, the city sometimes shuts down the highways for longer than a day, a week isn't unheard of up here. I will look into getting a letter annotated into our file ahead of time though, and we'll likely leave a few days early if the weather looks bad just in case. It's the freak storms I'm worried about

You don't need to state what you are leaving, as that can change over time, you bequeath your 'Estate'. that covers anything and everything unless you name a specific something.
