k-1 adjustment of status interview

So we got word that we will have an interview. I though we would get exempt. Any one have anything to share about there interview? Not sure why we have to do an interview.

we, like most in the AOS process that rec`d a "potential interview waiver" letter would have rather had an interview as these lead to receiving the green card much faster. Anyway, show co-mingling of finances(bank accts. etc.), lease or home ownership in both you`re names, utility bills in both names, a complete list can be easily found by researching this site.

We had an interview for AOS and it was a lot of trouble for my USC husband to get to it (he was supposed to be in another state for work). In the end, he didn't have to say one word at the interview, and we were in and out of there in about 5 minutes. We had nothing but wedding pictures to show. We'd only been married 3 months so had no banking/lease stuff etc, and weren't asked for it.

I agree with the above post that if you have an interview it seems like you do received your GC way faster.

Put lots of evidence in your package that shows co-mingling of your life together. I just did my ROC application and the co-mingling of all of our stuff together turned into a HUGE package once I was done.

Are you doing an interview for K1 or AOS? All K1 visa's do an interview at the American Consulate.

Took about 10 minutes. Very pleasant interviewer. Looked at some photos, asked a few random questions then the questions off the form; ever been a terrorist, etc. Said you're approved and that was it.
