Hello everyone!!!!

Just had a question regarding nvc mail. I sent my Affidavit of support package in early sept. It is still under review as it can take 60 days. Now my question is I sent in Sept 17 in a separate package my husbands and I civil documents for the ds260.

I call Nvc like everyday since i havent received an email. In the us postal site it says delivered on Sept 23 but nvc says they havent received anything yet. I might be in the mail room not yet scanned. Im just concerned because its been almost a month now. And it takes 60 days for review and they havent gotten our documents in the system. Is this normal????

That's odd. Every time I send forms and documents to nvc, I always get the 60-day notice a few days after they receive it. It's been almost a month since you sent it, maybe it's time you talk to an immigration officer and ask their advice. Good luck

I would Re-send everything because when I sent my package in, it was scanned 2 days after FedEx said it was delivered. Did you put the cover page on your package? Silly question but it could happen and that would delay your package

An immigration officer won't be able to help you with that.

Call NVC and ask the operator again - maybe you just caught someone very incompetent that day (which is not very uncommon). If he or she still says they don't have anything from you in their system, ask to speak to a supervisor regarding your concerns. Documents are usually scanned in a few business days after delivery. But I am pretty sure your documents got there because you have a delivery confirmation.

Edit: Not everyone receives the 60-day-email. We only received it for one package, but not the other. Maybe NVC doesn't send it out anymore if they're actually clearing their backlog.

its sad, but I think the backlog is being cleared because they have slowed down the I-130 approvals again.

Still not received yet is a little weird. Contact a supervisor on Monday.

Hey guys!!!

Thank you to everyone who has responded and shared some insight. I will def give them a call again tommorrow and speak to a Supervisor.

Its so weird because they have gotten everything else quickly with no problems and got an email right after. When I sent my civil documents now I didnt sent the cover page but I did sent the invoice paper in the front of the package.

Either way is so stressing having to wait this long. Wish me luck guys and hopefully ill get se good news...

You didn't send the bar code cover sheet? did you at least write your case number on your documents?
