Hello everyone,

Good news! I just go a letter on the mail yesterday dated 9/9/2015 saying my request to remove condition on my green card had been APPROVED! Online also says that my card has been sent to production.

Can any body tell me when I can start the citizenship process?

I tried to update the status chart but i did not want to mess it up. Can someone do that for me?

What is the date of permanent residency on your card?

My says permanent resident since February 6/2013 so I will be filing 90 days before that date which will be I think on November 4th based on marriage to a US citizen.

You can file 90 days prior to the date where it says permanent resident since.... Just do not send it in any earlier or else they will send it back.

Finally I think my case was approved.

VSC has changed the processing time to 6 months instead of a particular date (it was showing November 1, 2014 for the last two weeks). I checked my case status now and it says "On Sep 14, 2015, we mailed your new card for receipt number xxxxxxxxxx blah blah blah." When I checked the status on Monday it said "Case was received on Dec 03, 2014". I am surprised that they changed the status to mailed the card without saying Case approved. I will stay skeptical until I receive the card.

Thanks for the information, it almost feels unreal after all the waiting. My GC says resident since Jan 2013. Do you know what is the cost of this application?

I would get on the phone and call the 1-800 number that is listed on the uscis.gov website. Ask to be transferred to a Tier 2 person as the CSR will not be able to tell you anything and a Tier 2 person is an immigration officer. If that doesn't work then make an info pass appointment. I would also suggest that you reach out to your local senator. They have paperwork that you can fill out so they can make an inquiry on your behalf.

This is what I did. When I had my infopass appt at the beginning of August I told the officer that CSC was processing April 2015 ROC cases and that VSC was still working on on October 2014. The agent asked how I knew this. I had printed off screen shots of VJ's April 2015 ROC Forum status updates before my appt and showed this to the agent. She then took a look at what was happening with my case and told me right there that it had been approved the day before.

I find that when it comes to dealing with USCIS on the phone that you have to be a bit pushy when the lackey's (Tier 1) that answer the phone aren't very helpful. They will always try to push you off by giving you the usual rhetoric (it's within it's normal processing time..blah blah blah). Be insistent on speaking with an immigration officer. That's why you pay those big fees.

Sammyboy nice to see you. I would say that the IO would have been able to see that an RFE would have been issued. Make an infopass appt. It is beyond ridiculous that you are still waiting on your case approval.

Yeah, still waiting on my case approval especially when I am a Jan filer and there are feb filers with GCs in hand already.

My lawyer is pretty calm about the case and says to just wait. He says that he is pretty confident that the petition will result in an approval only and that it is a very well documented case.
