I-485 in Response to RFE Received since 11/10. Called USCIS and they said that my case was in queue for testing and interview since 11/20 but not update on USCIS website! Do I just wait for a letter from local office? Is it possible they are waiting to attach an approved i-130 that was sent to NVC?

My local office has no data on processing times.

boston is not bad, 2,800 I-485 cases pending as of august 31, Dallas has more then 7,400. you will probably get a interview in February at the most.

THanks Hunter! We may very well be processed at the Lawrence MA field office and I'm not showing any numbers, anywhere. Are they waiting for the I-130 file to be sent back.. or are they waiting for Lawrence to clear the appointment?

Thanks for the reply!

I think after biometrics they transfer the file according to the filed office interview schedule and then set up a appointment. NBC would already have your I-130 and all your application in one folder before they changed your status. The interview depends on the how busy the field office is.

Call the 1800 number for the customer service and tell them you want to talk to a tier 2 officer. They know more about the case then the customer service people.

This might be a really stupid question but if our case is at the NBC and we never got a letter of transfer, does that mean we will most likely get a notice of potential interview waiver.

I am going crazy with this whole waiting and no update thing!

10/01/14 - Case accepted (status Fingerprint Fee Was Received)
10/23/14 - Biometrics Appointment
12/12/14 - Still waiting, no updates :clock:

Did you also file for EAD/AP? Because if you did, come Monday you can call or do an e-request to get a status on your application. You will be right at the 75 day mark.
