Thanks in advance. I have met my wife ( US citizen) through Facebook ( in 2011). After few months we both have deactivated our Facebook accounts. We started chatting on Skype and yahoo. My interview might be next month. If PO asks me where and how did I met my wife? I have decided to tell them the truth that we met on Facebook but we deactivated soon after our meeting. Well it will be good enough if you suggest me something. In evidence, all I have Skype and Yahoo chats, we never actually used phone or any other messaging service to call each other . All we are using the Skype video calls. In additions to this I also have some of the western union and Paypal Transactions, in addition to all this few nice vacations we have spent and photograph together. Like last year in November, we met in Singapore, and we went to Bali and Malaysia. I have itinerary of both of us plus hotel booking. Is this enough evidence to show??

Not having Facebook means nothing. Long as you can show you been communicating is all that matters. And the time in person together is always your best evidence. Looks good.

You mentioned you decided to tell the truth about facebook.

Remember, lying, in general, will make things worse. I hope you aren't going to make up other parts of your relationship to the consul.

No I won't, I mean I can't do anything since, we both don't have any Facebook account since from 2 years, so they can also understand. Who would have thought that this is going to come in future for an evidence.

Just a little input incase you hadn't thought about it.

Facebook never deletes accounts.

Even though you both have deactivated them you can easily log on again.

This will activate them just to get what you might need and then just deactivate them again.

You shouldn't need any proof of how you met because you obviously have lots of others.

But incase you want it... It's right there.
