No it is not necessary to have call logs notarized for the embassy. Some calling card companies send call logs upon a written letter request that has been notarized as proof that you are the person requesting it. Since you didn't register that won't be possible.

The visa refusal was from 2012 after 16 months of AP.

It was a general blanket statement of "not convinced we are a genuine couple" and she had a "gut feeling" and didn't think

our future marriage would be a "lasting one." That was the response when I pressed the CO personally face to face for answers.

It all came with a a shrugging of her shoulders.

More evidence was asked for but she refused to look at it when submitted and we were told "I don't have time to read all that stuff."

No factual evidence was given.

We re- filed and are currently goint through the process.

Its frustrating when peoples' lives especially married couples are being put on hold for too long bcos of someone not being convinced that their relationship is bona fide.I understand the important need to protect the US,but it seems that some COs are over zealous in this regard.The current US immigration process needs a revamping.Its unhealthy for the US society the way bona fide couples lives are being subjected to extreme & long waiting.Ebunoluwa,i share your feelings of bitterness & pain.Asianya,our visa processing in no longer with the NVC.I had my 1st inteview last November but the CO returned our petition bcos she said she wasn't convince my relationship with my wife is bona fide,after reaffirmation by USCIS we had a 2nd interview scheduled last month.I'm currently placed on AP.my thoughts to you is be very prepared,& if you're bona fide you'll eventualy be issued your visa.Take good care.

Yes Dwheels,i was given contact sheets to fill.My hope is that our case would be investigated "expeditiously".When married couples are subjected to a very long wait,my concern is how healthy is this?The US being one of the greatest country on our planet today should have a better approach to family immigration than what is currently offered.Well,we'll keep on hoping.Take good care & thanks for your concern.My Regards.

Jobs suck, health care sucks, immigration reform for legal immigration won't ever happen in my life time and Congress

plays politics all day and doesn't make laws it is supposed to make. It is one big "vote for me" live reality show

and a big corporate welfare lobbying mess.

To give a conoff such discretionary authority without recourse and without checks and balances is insanity.

It is a bipolar system based on biased personal guesses for many couples.

They have one job to do and that is catch the fraudsters and know the difference between them and the genuine couples.

Can't get it right half the time.

If they have factual evidence like they are supposed to have then show me !
They aren't allowed to just re adjudicate an approved petition becaue of "gut feelings."

Ebunoluwa and dwheel76 you guys re realy funy...lol..,honestly sometimes sorry for geniue couples going through this process,sometimes up till now can't even belive what my petition is going back to the state to do,well am getting over it,atless I can now have a good laugh about all this guessing game as some people would call it,now concerning the couple that doesn't have a call log, this is my understanding,first when the CO Asked for means of communication I told av her I av whaspp chat,facebook chat,Gmail and yahoo mails, phone log,she only asked to see the phone log and asked if she can keep it,my advice don't anything stupid just for the sake of call log, bcos they would definitely find out,that's more problem,if u don't av a call log, simply tell them you don't av a call log,show them other means of communication, after all with all my call log,also concentrate on other area of strength of ur relationship, don't just focus on phone log alone,this guy know what they re looking for,if they want to approve,call log would not stop them,it just depend on your relationship, some relationship they don't need call log to make a decision trust me on that,just try and focus on other area of strength in ur relationship, wish you all best in ur up comming interview

Thank you. Am still waiting for my husband's interview to be scheduled. I am praying for a December date.

December is usually a bad month at Lagos , the CO's seem to delight in denying those expecting to spend the holidays together. Personally being prepared and an legit couple is not a guarantee of a visa out of Lagos. Having suffered an initial denial I know how cruel Lagos can be to couples.
