If you know it has such a reputation why would you use it? I think the part your are talking about was shut down anyway. Really you just used the internet which is what many people do today. All that really matters is that you met in person and that you are not involved in some arranged marriage situation.

While craigslist is the creepiest place to meet someone to have them as a soul mate, I would still not worry about this at all. Just be honest and reply honestly with whatever IO asks. If your relationship is real, than even this fact will not have ANY effect on your applications. Good luck!

Two basic requirements, must have met face to face and spent time together the past two years, and must be free to marry,.,.,., then a lot of documentation,.,.,.,.,and if TSC is your service center, a long wait!
