Hi everyone,

I'm nervous but excited! I have my packet ready to roll...I have to say I did I pretty good job (I hope :innocent: )

I should know this, but my mind is at a blank right now. I will be sending to the Vermont Service Center - to eventually be sent to Amman. What's the best route to send via postal service. (Certified, Signature Guaranteed, etc???).

I really appreciate your help.

1st K-1 Journey:

June 2005 - filed

October 2005 - visa interview

March 2006 - AOS packet mailed

DIVORCED

June 2007 - Interview

2008 - 10 year approval

2nd K-1 Journey:

07/28/07 - AOS paperwork mailed

07/30/07 - Received at lockbox

09/18/07 - Biometrics

10/15/07 - Transferred to CSC

01/09/08 - AOS approved w/o interivew

11/01/09 - Lift conditions

11/01/10 - interview to lift conditions/10-yr card

01/01/10 - 10 year approval

I sent mine Next Day Air... UPS signature required... make sure you use a check..it helps to get the receipt number sooner so you can view it on the internet..

Vermont...you already have a lucky break..as most of the time they are alot faster...... Good Luck on the rest of your journey..

9/15 Recieved and signed for by "Freeman" at NSC

9/19 NOA1 CSC Recieved

9/25 Notice date Check cashed 9/25

9/28 I Recieved NOA1(I-797C) in the mail

12/5 NOA2 12/6 but Approved on 12/5 touch

12/9 Received NOA2(I-797) by snail mail

12/15 NVC has received it..Case # issued...

12/19 NVC shipped to Romania

12/22 Romanian Embassy has received an email from NVC that my Petition is on it's way...

12/29 Packet 3 sent to Veronica

1/12 2007 Packet 3 received Dang Holidays..

1/22 Sending all paperwork(I-134,Bank/Employer letters etc..,)..to Veronica per DHL, 3.5lbs...$144 WOW!

1/25 Recieved notice that She needs to pick up my packet in Chisinau..

1/26 Sending Back Packet 3

2/16 Transit Visa to go to Romania for the Interview approved..

2/20 Leaves for Bucharest overnight drive by bus...

2/21 Medical

2/22 Interview !!!! APPROVED !!!!!

3/9 2007 Flight to me....

4/7 2007 Married,,,

7/27 Sent I-485, I-864, I-765

7/30 Chicago Recieved I-485,I-765

Next day air sounds like a plan - didn't know I could send via UPS. Thanks for the information and for the good wishes. Best of luck to you as well. Let's hope for a speedy process!!!

*Came to visit me in Germany for New Years 2006

*Filed for K1 Visa on 4/4/06

*NOA1 - 7/6/06

*I-129F NOA2 Approved - 9/14/06

*Came to see me Thanksgiving week in Nov. 2006

*K1 Interview - 2/2/07

*K1 Visa received - 2/11/07

*Date of US Entry (POE Chicago)- 3/5/07

*Wedding/Marriage - 3/17/07

AOS (My case was expedited due to husband going to Iraq):

*Filed for AOS - 4/20/07

*Found out in the beginning of June that husband is going to Iraq

*NOA for I-485 - 6/11/07

*Made Infopass appointment to get case expedited due to deployment (Infopass appt 6/12/07)

*Biometrics - 7/7/07

*Interview date - 7/11/07

*I-485 Aprroval date- 7/11/07

*Green Card Received- 7/19/07

Removal of Conditions:

*Filed petition to remove conditions on 6/9/09

*NOA- 6/15/09

*Biometrics Appt. in Birmingham - 8/6/09

*Lifting of Conditions Approval Date - 10/22/09

*Waiting for Green Card!

Had our daughter on 4/4/08 and have another baby due 11/19/09!!!

UPS is a good way to go. congrads on your first move and I believe you have started good since you are file to VSC. I hope you will see an NOA2 within a short period of time.

congrats. you and i will be on a similar timeline! i will send mine out next week or the week after through vermont!

why is UPS better than USPS? whatever you do, i would do it guaranteed, able to track it, and fast so you can get your man here faster! :D

thanks for the well wishes. I sent UPS because they do next day air and guaranteed sig for around $30. By the way file as soon as possible. I think feb 18th a new version of the form will be out and I was afraid if i sent after today i might get an rfe cause they want me to fill out the new one.

I'll add you to my friend's list so we can track together since we're filing so close.
