I have long contended that total control of society by the left is determined by the amount of laws they pass. Someday just spitting on a sidewalk will be justification for a felony .I found this interesting a few years ago.

Common sense gun legislation. Having eight rounds in a 10 round magazine, or having magazines with more than a 10 round capacity in New York will be defined as criminal possession of a weapon in the third degree; a “Class D Violent Felony.” Wondering what some class E felonies in New York are?

Yep. That's why several times a year you'll see the lefty-media whine about an "unproductive congress" because they didn't pass that many laws. Surely at some point there are enough laws? I always thought jus the Golden Rule oughta be enough...

i didn't say anything about black people, i was talking about felons.

nevermind. jeez you guys have a really limited scope. anyway, i don't believe many democrats agree with me. i don't know.

Babygirl, look at who you're arguing with. Take a deep breath and calm down. I know what you mean, and anyone who doesn't have a slanted view of the world does too. (F) And for the felon's bit, that goes to show you how they view certain people. Because someone here used to be a 2 time felon who lost and had their gun rights restored, but the hate never flowed in their direction.

What about 'em? The fact they've committed a serious crime indicates they don't understand how society works, and should not have a say in its future workings.

Right on. Then by the same token, they shouldn't have to pay taxes. You know the whole taxation without representation thing? I've heard that complaint somewhere before.

Well, I guess they could start their own armed revolt, but maybe that's why they were in prison to begin with.

Seriously though: you surrender certain rights when you break the social contract. It's a shame to have to treat grownups like children (time-outs and such) but as long as they prove themselves unfit for society, certain rights will be forfeited.

And to help Obama further flush the last 50 years of race relations down the toilet. He has one of the most proflic racist this country has ever known, helping pick the new AG.. Makes me want to vomit. What a shame our first black president had to act like a racist idiot , when elected.

He doesn't have him helping. But in your mind this has already happened.

The White House did not immediately respond to a request for comment about whether Sharpton is involved in the decision-making process for Holder's successor.

don't worry, i'm not upset. it is annoying to try and exchange thoughts with folks and they're only interested in arguing back and forth. common ground to be avoided at all costs.

i find it sad that i can come right out and say that i don't agree with felons loosing their 2nd amendment rights for life in addition to their voting rights and nothing. it's just ridiculous really.

Why should you surrender certain rights? What other rights should be surrendered? 1st amendment rights? Maybe fourth amendment rights? We should probably take away free speech and the protection against illegal search and seizure. That'll teach them for breaking the "social contract" Seems they're handing out life sentences when it come to those rights.
