To all approved noa2 transfers (April/may tsc-CSC)...

Have any approved petitions been sent to the nvc yet? It's been a week & a half for me, so I'm not THAT worried yet about my own. But, I am concerned that they're not planning on mailing them until all transfers are approved. That could cause another huge delay in all our cases (& potentially mean Matt won't be here for Christmas). So, if some have been sent, it'll be a huge relief to me. I'm just hoping for a case # in the next two weeks.

This question was kinda asked earlier, but one of the responses was from a cr1 visa. K1 go through a different process. I've also heard it's usually 2-3 weeks. If it's not sent, is there any way to push it along??

Thanks...

Keep in mind that CSC was always much slower with sending the approvals to NVC. That was always a primary complaint from the filers over there. That is the only part of TSC that is efficient. It would seem that CSC is at least twice as long with that part of the process, so you are about a week to 10 days away from what I remember many at CSC saying.

If it's sent within two weeks I'll be ok. My fiancé just had surgery & can't do anything for another two weeks anyway, so were a bit delayed there. But anything more than that & I'm worried. I figure if we have the nvc # by mid oct, he should get his interview by the end of November (everything is ready to go & he'd better be snappy about filling out his online forms lol). So a mid dec arrival still looks probable.

Be positive. If he misses this Christmas, you will never have to miss another Christmas again because he will be approved afterward!

Heyy! So i was approved on sept 3 and my petition was already in the nvc sept 15. I called that exact day and they gave me my new case number and they stated that they received the case that same morning.

After that i kept checking the status online and they mailed it to the santo domingo consulate on thrusday the 18th.

i hope this helps. It has been going pretty fast for us.

However my case is still "in transit" since last thrusday. Is this normal? I thought it took 3-4 business days!

We were approved on September 4, an we never called NVC, but the US embassy in my country called me to tell me that they received our I129f. Now I am waiting to schedule my medical. Dont lose hope, give them 10 working days and then start calling them. Soon all of this will be over and we will be with our significant other :)

We have been approved on September 5th and got our hardcopy on september 11th. Since my fiancé can't call NVC (too much work) I sent an email a week and a half ago and I am still waiting for an answer, but we know they can be very long to answer emails.

It gives me hope to see that you have been approved just one or two days after me and that your case is moving! I hope to hear from NVC next week! :)

So, I should be able to call mid-late next week and get the number most likely? I'm relieved to know that petitions have been sent out and no one seems to be getting actual notices about it. I get so worried about things! As soon as we have that number and Matt is fully healed from his surgery and able to go to London for his medical, then things will finally feel like they're moving.

Thanks everyone:)
