Wow! Congratulations! Did they expedite your case?

I looked at your timeline, saw you're from the Phillipines. I am also a July filer, to be honest I feel sad that you guys get your cases expedited while we dont receive such privilege.

However, I rejoice with you. Congratulations again, and I wish you success all the way!

hi. to answer your question, i did not request to expedite the application. i was prepared to give it 5 months for the adjudication of the application but i was pleasantly surprised last night that it only took 2 months. i'm not sure if i was given the privilege of expediting my application but i'll take it if they did and i'm grateful for that. i feel for everybody who are waiting for their turn to be approved but only the adjudicators and the staff of the 4 service centers know how they process applications. a little bit of luck and a lot of prayers i guess coz thats what i did. i actually prayed for two things....first is hopefully i won't get an RFE....and second if no RFE, hopefully it will only take 5 months to process at Texas Service Center. but i got two months with no RFE, i'm extremely thankful. i will continue to pray for everybody in their journey.

I learned that folks in Philippines get special treatment due to the last hurricane...so I wouldn't be bothered with any approval from Philippines.

But hey, dont rob in anyone's face.

it was in no way that i meant to rob my luck on anyone's face. i was thankful that i got approved in a short period of time and i was not in any way boastful of what i got. i even offered my prayer to get theirs approved soon. if you interpret that as robbing it on anyone's face, then that's on you. don't sound bitter...just saying. if i was downright proud and feeling high and mighty that my petition got approved sooner than anybody's petition like yours, then by all means say that to me not to rob my luck on anyone's face. but i wasn't.

I'm shocked at how rude this post is! Everyone here knows the timelines etc going in to the process, everyone is waiting doesn't matter if it is one day or one year. We are all waiting to be with our loved ones every second apart is hard! That is why most of us are here for information and support as we face this difficult journey together! It does not matter why he got his he still waited two months with out expecting anything being handed to him! So those that go through CSC deserve it less then those though TSC? Do those from lower risk countries deserve it more then high risk countries?

To OP congratulations and best of luck on the rest of you journey to the arms of your loved one!

Ana88,

You think my post was "rude" because I said "Filipinos get special treatment.." which is true.. and " OP shouldn't rub it in people's face" is your problem?

Waiting 2 months is verrrrry different from 5 to 6 months. If it doesn't bother you, good for you but it bothers me and if you got problem with that, go feed yourself beans!... **I'm pissed y'all**

I didn't insult OP, and OP even came to "apologize" if his/her post offended anyone but you took time to make mockery of yourself. Go read all the post on the page and then read mine to get the gist of the whole thing.

let me make it clear! Anyone who submitted his or her petition earlier DESERVES to have approval before anyone that sent it later!!! (With all things been equal).

I dont think I deserve to get mine approval before someone that sent theirs in May if there were no RFE or special circumstances.

Next time, dont jump in the middle of an issue you don't understand where it is coming from.

In no way was OP rubbing it in peoples faces he simply made a post to share his excitement with his VJ family just as I did and just as many others did. It is in no way his person fault he got his early, and gives no reason to be rude. I hardly made a mockery of myself haha I was stating that your post was rude, which it was. If you are pissed off that other get it earlier that is completely understand and reasonable emotion to have, but to vent it on to someone who is simply happy about a step they reached is ridiculous. Not OP's fault he doesn't make the system in which they operate. I did read the whole thread just like I read every other thread post by post. I also never disagreed about special treatment as I've witnessed much of it but as I said the OP didn't invent those rules for himself and or did he expect or request it. Had he hardly apologised as he shouldn't he clearly stated that you were wrong he wasn't rubbing it in and that, that was your take on it. Nothing in either of his post was boastful or even lined with excitement he stated facts. Simple as. Try be happy for other an share in there excitment and hopefully soon we can all share in yours which I have my fingers crossed will be very soon. Edited by Ana88

Ana who??,

I don't care what you think. The Filipino in question is going about his or her business and you got nothing interesting to do then to pick a part an issue that has been buried.

Girl, bye!

A&P. Being bitter about someone else's good fortune won't speed up your process. No one in the process is in control and everyone approved should be allowed to share their excitement without fear of being accused of rubbing it in others faces. if you are bothered by others good fortune, keep it to yourself.
