Me and my wife applied for our AOS since we got married earlier this year, we filed the i-130 and work permit etc on August 21st this year i have received the receipts and my biometrics appoinment letter i had my biometrics done yesterday (09-22-14) the thing is from what we have looked up online ours feels like it going very fast, from filing to having my biometrics done has taken only 32days how long is everyone else taking? we are in Ohio roughly 45miles east of columbus, i believe our stuff has gone to the Nebraska branch, how much longer will it take to get my work permit now? and how long do you think until i get my green card interview i know there is rough time tables but im looking for people maybe in the same state that have experienced it this year, thank you.

In Cinninnati, back in 2011 I got GC in 2.5 months after submitting AOS package.

Wow, 2.5 months is great.

OP: No one can give you a perfect timeline because workload varies month to month. However, I can give you the average timeframe so that you feel better if you receive it earlier.

The biometrics is always the fastest, most people have it scheduled within a month or two after submitting the paperwork. This is true for just about every application that requires biometrics.

The EAD/AP can take as little as 45 days and up to 90 days. The AOS can take as little as 45 days to up to and over a year. This is from the timelines and threads I have seen on here and from what I personally have seen.

The only thing that you have to be concerned about for now is the EAD/AP since you need it to work, travel, get an SSN, DL, etc. So if you see that it's close to 90 days and nothing, then you can start calling around to see what's going on. From the looks of it, it looks like you may be get your EAD/AP by the end of next month.

Trust me, I know the wait is painful, but you will get through it. Good luck.
