I received approval to Expedite to through the Consulate today. I am not sure how to move forward on this as there is nothing on expedites that I have found really. I will try to update this thread once I find out everything.

My intention is to start by contacting the embassy directly to find out the next step. Hopefully they will say to just bring all the documents over and get'r done.

Since they havent shown approval on the AOS (Affidavit of Support) and did not do an invoice yet for IV, I am not sure where they will be in the process for us.

If anyone has any thoughts or has seen this let me know.

You may want to call nvc for the next step. What did u say to get approval for expedite? I have been waiting over 7 months now and plus I have to wait 60 days each to send aos and iv documents. I would love to speed up my process too.

The email says specifically that NVC will not answer questions and I have to go directly to the consulate for everything now. I wrote the embassy today and am waiting for a reply.

My case was special for my wife and daughter. I was moved from my position in Bahrain to Florida with less than 30 days notice. So they are working with me. I also had several documents for support that specifically stated they should help me out if possible.

Once I get more information for the case I will update it here. The last step we had completed was the AOS submission. But nothing was done with it. They had not invoiced me yet for the IV's for my wife and daughter.

Life is adventure, so I am drinking it up.

Just an update to this if anyone is interested.

1. No notice was given that the IV (DS-260) was available to fill out online. I filled both out today, printed the cover sheet, and put both packages together per the wiki on the normal process.

I am sending the packages off to my wife for the embassy.

Note: No payment was required for the processing. I expect they will require my wife to pay that at the embassy since the email stated NVC will no longer process anything, and all correspondence would be with the consulate from now on.

I spoke with Maria at the embassy. She said they are aware of my wife's package but had not received it yet. They have her number and mailing address and will contact her when it arrives. I am hoping they receive it this week, and we can move forward on her items being done.

No response yet from the Manila Embassy query for my daughter.

Notified by Embassy they have both packages in Manama. Maria said she needed a copy of my wifes NBI sent from Philippines. Otherwise her package was complete.

For my daughter, she required a second AOS (Not sure why but whatever makes it speed up). We need to pay for the transfer of my daughters documents to Philippines.

They did not receive either of the DS-260 forms from the NVC. Both will have to be regenerated.

It took around 2 weeks to get from NVC to the Embassy. Just keep in mind, they need the petitioners phone number, email, and address.

If they have that information, it speeds up the process. You can normally reach the embassy by using the contact email on their website, or call the number for them listed on their website.
