Hello VJ guys,

I am filing my AOS tomorrow through FEDX.

USCIS

Attn: FBAS

131 South Dearborn 3rd floor

Chicago, IL 60603-5517.

I have 2 questions.

1. How much is the cheque amount for AOS all together. Is the amount still $1070 US?

2. My wife was a student and only worked for 3 months in 2013 and made 2,000 in her tax return. However started a new job in Nov 2013 and she is now making $35K. She has an official letter from work stating how much she makes today. Is there anything else I can use to support her income besides getting a co-sponsor? What she makes now is well above the poverty line.

Thank you guys for the help. I couldn't have done this without this forum. Its been a life saver.

Yes, $1070. The current fees can always be found at the USCIS website > http://www.uscis.gov/i-485

Your wife has had her job for almost a year now. She lists her current annual income where it asks, which is $35k. She can provide the letter from her employer and recent pay stubs to prove her income.

1- yes! $1070 for form I-485 and $420 for form I-130

Those adjusting from a K-1 do not file an I-130. The process is slightly different for those adjusting from a family based visa. That is why there are separate forums for those adjusting from family based and from other types of visas.

The I-130 is not needed when adjusting from a K-1.
