Check cashed - no electronic notice of acceptance

At 2am my bank notified me that the electronic transfer was completed and USCIS received payment for my I-129F application fee. I'm concerned that I haven't received any electronic notice yet. I filled out (and quadruple checked) my information on the G-1145, so I'm wondering when I will receive my first electronic message from them.

Here are my questions:

  1. What are the steps that the USCIS takes after the payment clears and before and the issuance of the NOA1?
  2. Would there be any reason why I wouldn't get an NOA1 after the check clears?
  3. Will I be notified for any other reasons - or will it just vanish? Let's say something is wrong or missing - will I receive any correspondence?

I just held my breath while I typed this.

:(

There might just be a delay in the e-notifications. If there is no error in your mobile number and email address as you have indicated on your G-1145, give it a wait for the next 2 days. If just in case, you didn't receive any text or email, you will still get a physical mail, the actual NOA1. which looks like this: http://www.visajourney.com/gallery/albums/userpics/107150/edited_noa1.jpg

Cashing of check is a very positive indicator that uscis received and acknowledged your application, so there's nothing to worry about. Take a deep breath and try not to worry too much. :)

You won't receive the NOA1 as soon as they check is cashed. You will receive notice in a few days. If there is a problem they will send you noitce via usps.
