Mine says I left the country in July. Apparently it happens to everybody that has a flight to go back home but they know you are here so I was told to not worry about it, I've seen people asking about it in the forum a few times so I realized it was the normal thing for the people who wasn't supposed to stay :)

The moment you purchase a ticket the company sends that info to homeland security so automatically after the "departure" day they update your I-94 with the aiport name and date you were suppose to be leaving the country

Oh good to know :) I was about to call DHS and ask about it but since it happens to everyone I guess I should worry :) Thanks!

I am very upset with the whole immigration and laws in the US. DMV SC in particular... I have my Philippine Driver license, SC ID card, USCIS work permit... BS I can't get. Drivers license because I would to get. Learners permit and hold it for 180 days before a DL is issued.

OMG how would I work and drive my car without someone with me every time I'm driving in the highway. It's just so frustrating that I have co worker whose been here illegally and yet she can drive...

Sis I just went to DMV also & I thimk u can have a temporary permit & the lady told me after they verify my papers, pass the written test & have the temporary permit if I want I can immediately take the drivers test whenever I want (also depends on the slot available for the test)... no need to wait for 180 days for them to issue a DL... they can issue it once I passed both Written & driving test

Here in georgia you also first get the learners permit the one you have to drive with someone over 21 always in the car... but if you are ready you are allowed to pass the driving test and get the "real" drivers license same day! Except teenagers...

Have you checked the law in SC website or they told you this at the DMV???? That really sucks if it's really the law there because you can't just bring someone always in the car with you specially to go work.... I would check the website myself in case you didn't and if it doesn't say the same they told you at the DMV print it and show them

it is indeed really frustrating! here in California theres a new law and guess what? Undocumented immigrant can now apply a drivers license, then there in your state they are giving so much difficulty for the people who came here legally... i will try to come here to get a DL.
