I just received the e-mails for my kids interview! I have called NVC earlier and was told that tonight they will begin sending the e-mails for people that were scheduled last Friday.

We had our interview yesterday morning. We were told we were approved, but ceac shows AP. But I have read that it always shows that while they are preparing and printing the visa. I pray this is the case and not that we will be stuck and I will have to return home alone.

Mine changed from Ready to AP to Issued within the space of an hour, keep checking

Visa has been printed CEAC status Issued

we had interview yesterday n got the passport n sealed packet todayyy...amazingggg...so fast...we r sooooo happy...flying to NY in couple of weeks... :)...

When your Visa Status changes to 'Ready', that's when you can request a re-schedule. Have you completed your medical, yet? That can help, too :-)

Is that using the "check visa application status" option on CEAC? So it changes from "at NVC" to "Ready" when the embassy receive the file?

Congrats to all who got their interviews!!! I haven't been able to get in touch with NVC about my case, who i'm noticing it's just other countries getting interviews but Dominican Republic, i'm afraid to call and not get a date. Dwheels, do you happen to know what's going on as far as our embassy not giving dates like other embassy. Any input will help me to figure what's going on. ???

The NVC have scheduled October's interview for the Dominican Republic since Tuesday at 12 PM. So I recommend you to call them or wait for your IL this evening.

You need to show the IL in order to do that

They cannot do that for you if you dun have IL because like the expiration of vaccination....etc so you have to be nearing on your way to US then they will allow you to do that which is the moment you get IL of course

Based on the information you posted here, they don't have the complete financial evidence. Did you submit the police certificate? It seems they don't have that.

No I did get interview email and that is not required for booking medical appt and it's reqired when attend medical checkup
