How long for NOA1?

I know I'm just freaking out for nothing, but how long does it usually take to receive the NOA1? My packet was signed for on the 25th, but my check hasn't been cashed and haven't received any texts or emails.

There is no rhyme or rhythm to this. It's not first come first serve basis. It can take anywhere from 3 days to 3 weeks.

Just be patient :-) It will come soon. Mine took 7 days for me to receive the email and the check cashed after it was signed by USCIS and don't forget we have a long holiday weekend coming so it may be until after the holiday to see any activity. Good luck on your journey!

my lawyer sent our I-130 on Aug 12. I still haven't received our NOA1 but our check was cashed on Aug 20th. Its been 2.5 weeks already :/

It can take up to 30 days.

Thanks everyone! Just wanted to check the average.

So Harpa, since essentially EAD is "maybe" 90 days, would it essentially be 120 days from when they received? If that makes sense.

I can't remember if they backdate NOA1s for AOS (they do for ROC), but I would still count 90 days from when it arrived there. Good luck.

just an update....I still have not received my NOA1 but I did call the USCIS yesterday and i got my receipt number :) ...the funny thing is, my case was received Aug 15th (mailed Aug 12th) ... so i should have gotten my NOA1 a long time ago... but now that i have confirmed everything i feel better. maybe i will have it in my hands this week, who knows :/
