hello there. so last monday, on the 18th i got my new case nr and typed it in on the ceac website and it said "at nvc". few hours later it said "in transit" and on the 19th it said "ready". surely the embassy didnt receive our papers that fast, just the electronic version, but i checked the status just now to see and it still says the same, "ready" but says that the status was last updated, on the 22nd, so yesterday. what could that mean?

It means they touched your case. Status " Ready" won't be changed until you have your interview is completed. Whenever you have communication with the embassy your date status will changed to the recent day.

It means someone looking at your file. It could be many reasons. Probably send an email to your fiancé ask your info, etc. Whenever I had communication with the embassy, my CEAC status was updated though still under "READY".

I was trying to say that if your date has changed on your CEAC status it means someone at embassy is looking on your file. There are many reasons they touched probably your approved petition is arrived at embassy by mail, or they will send you packet 3, or probably will going to ask some further information from your fiancé or you. "READY" status will stay same until you finished your interview.

If you still don't understand what I am trying to tell you, I will let others chime in especially whoever had been through the US embassy in Warsaw. Good luck!
