I'm going over the check list that came with my appointment notice and one of the things on the list says

although not required it is recommended that you bring two additonal passport style photos.

Did any of you bring these?

Hi there,

I did take them, but the officer told me they ask this in case they somehow lose the one you sent in with the application...in my case she had the ones I sent in there so she told me the pictures I brought weren't necessary.

I guess you can take them, it doesn't hurt...and on the plus side, the officer will get a sense that you're going above and beyond.

I agree - looks good on you for following the recommendations as well as the requirements. And seriously - things get lost in transition very easily. I think its a good idea to take them with you. I mean if it reasonably easy for you to get them and what not.

What else is listed in the checklist to bring to the interview? Asking so I can prepare in advance

Yes.

And it is something so simple to do, after all the time and work to get to that point. Why wouldn't a person do the last little bit requested to make sure of smooth sailing at the very end? Just curious.
