Sorry couldn't post my content in the above post.

Is that right no more 60 days email from NVC? What does that mean?

I was told they would not send me an email stating it would take 60 days to review my documents, but the 6th day wait is still in effect.

does anyone know if the doc for checklist is still unacceptable; will nvc issue another checklist again or they only issue for once, then the applicant just need to bring the original to the consulate for the interview?

I was told that this is not done for everyone. It is done case by case. For example, I can only be issued 2 checklists maximum. After that, I will be asked to bring the missing information to the interview. It would be best to ask a NVC rep.

We finally got CC today (2 December) with a scan date of 6 October. What a great and glorious day! I, a big burly guy, started crying on the phone with the lady from the NVC office when we called this morning. Filled with joy

Everyone that is still in the painful process - hang in there and stay strong! It can be so painfully dark and lacking in all hope, but it does get better.

Thank you all for this fantastic forum. Everyone is so supportive of one another. Knowing that wonderful people such as yourselves are coming to the United States is a very special and inspiring thing. We couldn't have waited as we did without checking this forum every single second for the past 7 months.

Thank you!!!

Can someone tell me what's going on? I called 2 weeks ago twice and told me that I should only write a paper stating why I did not file for 2013 and I did and sent it 2 weeks ago. They told me if I receive the checklist just to ignore it. But not it looks like they are asking for more info to be corrected or I'm not getting it? They only told me to send the statement and that's it?! Does this mean I have to correct part 1,2 and so on because I'm sure I did not send a blank form?

Please review the instructions below then refer to the final page of this checklist for mailing
