hi im a filipina i married an american citizen we passed our petition last week of june 2014 then we got the notice of receipt (NOA1) JULY 7 and Aug 1 we received the (NOA2) our petition was approved ... we were happy because it took like a month like the other cases who waits 6 mos? what should we do after we received the noa2? all i know was to wait for the notice that they have transfer it to NVC .... can someone help me/ answer me .... i really need some information ... thanks in advance Godbless us all ... :)

Starting searching everywhere on this website... absolutely start here and read this about 20 times. Make that 200 times:

Additionally, start getting all your paperwork in order ASAP! I thought that the I-130 was the hard part, but it's definitely one of the easier parts. Start the AOS process and the IV process soon. Basically, you'll need to call or wait for notification from NVC to get your case number and Invoice ID number so you can pay your fee and send off your AOS and IV paperwork. They are delayed right now (big surprise) so it's take 2 months from step to step.

September 1, 2010: Switched course from K1 to CR-1
December 8, 2010: Wedding date set; it will be on February 18, 2011!
February 9, 2011: Depart for China
February 11, 2011: Registered for marriage in Wuhan, officially married!!!
February 18, 2011: Wedding ceremony in Shiyan!!!
April 22, 2011: Mailed I-130 to Chicago
April 28, 2011: Received NOA1 via text/email, file routed to CSC (priority date April 25th)
April 29, 2011: Updated
May 3, 2011: Received NOA1 hardcopy in mail

December 21, 2023:  Production of new Green Card ordered - will be seeing USCIS again every 10 years for renewal

The AOS fee is $88.00 and the IV fee is $230.00 then you have to pay your physical exam fee of $260.00 and when you reach the U.S there will be a fee of $165.00

The NVC will not send forms to you, you have to go to the NVC website and download them. The website will give you the steps to take. However some of the information on the NVC website is no correct. All the fees are correct except the fee to enter America. There is no fee to enter America.

I think someone means the immigrant fee of $165 which is for the production of the green card.

That fee can be paid anytime after receiving the visa and the first year after moving to the USA.
