That is good to hear that it shouldn't affect visa administrations. I want my Edmond here now! I'm getting antsy. I'm happy that approvals are coming along though

I know the feeling…I want my Matt here with me now. It's killing me being apart, especially since I just said goodbye to him at the coach station on monday morning. Knowing our NOA2 is around the corner is helping, but I want it NOW! Lol. I'm really really hoping he can be here by christmas. Thank god he can schedule his physical before London gets the file (once the NVC has it and puts a case number on it I can let him know and it can be scheduled). I have everything planned out…All I'm waiting for is the confirmation so I can get a letter from my employer (I figure the date should be after the NOA2 approval). The boy still needs to get his freaking passport and police documents and I'm slightly freaking out over that cuz he hasn't done it yet (he's supposed to get everything done this weekend).

It still doesn't help that my work hasn't brought my hours back…I'm making $100 less a week than I was, which is NOT helping me save any money and there's no way I could afford an apartment and utilities and food with what I'm making now (despite that I'm still well over "poverty" level that's required) And I'm hoping to god they come back soon, so my paychecks look better for his interview. I'm stressing out hardcore over everything.

I am the petitioner.

Those with British fiance's with the change in threat level for terrorism do you think UK won't be issuing visas as quickly?

The UK doesn't issue the Visa. The US does. Shouldn't have any affect.

Oh my he does not have his passport yet??!! What! So, my fiancé was born British but moved to live in Ghana for several years. He has to get police certificates from there too? Will it be difficult, does he have to go in person to get it? I know he will have to get certificate from UK as he has resided there since his 20's I have to get a letter from my employer? Why?

Thanks Texas for the clarification for me

What all from us as sponsors will our finance's need for their interviews?

You really should take a look at the guides (up at the top of the page here, there's a guides tab) and also the Embassy page specific to the country he's interviewing in. It should give you an overview of what all is needed.

Question. So, I never received my NOA-T found out I was transferred to CSC by a tier 2 officer. Since I came from TSC when I check my case status online will it always reflect my TSC # or should I have been issues a CSC # number of which I don't know and God help me with obtaining it!

The guides here will be a big help. I've no idea if he needs to get a police certificate from Ghana, but if you read the London Guidehttp://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/474161-london-k1-a-complete-guide/ that may be of some help.

As far as the letter from your employer…if you make sufficient money, London is fairly easy (or so I've read) and only requires 2 proofs of your income. I'm being stupid and sending him 3 lol. He'll have my tax transcript from 2013, 2 recent check stubs and a letter from my employer stating how long I've worked with the company and what my position is (should be on company letterhead). I figure I'd better be safe than sorry.

And, I KNOW about the passport. I could KILL him! But I won't, he's too adorable lol. He had no reason to get one before he met me…and he recently moved, so he decided to wait until after my visit to get it (since their process is more complicated than ours) The good thing is, he works in the national passport office, so he can drop his application off there and it'll get expedited without hassle so he can get it sooner. Ugh…he stresses me out sometimes lol.

I am the petitioner.

Thank you. I ask a gazillion questions I know lol. I do however worry since they never emailed me my NOA-T will they forget to mail me .....*sigh*

No worries. That is what the forum is for :). They won't forget you. The transfer notice isn't important..your NOA2 is and I can only recall one person that did not receive a hard copy but soon thereafter they received a copy after calling.

I would recommend reading the guides as they are an invaluable resource for you and I would also start gathering the documents you will need after NOA2 as I don't think it is too far off for you. Always better to be a step ahead if possible even with a busy schedule :)

Really smart to get the medical ahead of time. I'm going to have my fiancé start doing all that he can too. I didn't send in any affidavit form yet, anyone know if that is going to be a problem?

Great news... Just got our email with our Approval right now!!!! :dancing:

NOA1: 02-Apr-2014

Transferred to CSC: 11-Aug-2014

NOA2: 29-Aug-2014

Congrats to all the recent approvals!!!! And to all the ones that haven't been approved, don't worry, your time is coming. We nearly got to 5 months, but I'm sure they are starting to pick it up at CSC with all the transfers, and TSC is really knocking them out super quick.

Best of luck to all and God bless!
