RFE came. It states that service records and my I765 have different names so they want a sworn affidavit of my full legal name as well as all other aliases.. and a copy of my marriage license.

Is my married name my new full legal name? And should I just use a name affidavit I find on google and have it notarized?

This is the RFE word for word.

"Service records and information provided on your i765 application conflict regarding your full legal name. Please submit a sworn affidavit indicating your full legal name. Please include a list of all aliases. Please include your maiden name. Please include your married name(s). For all names provided, please list them in the following format: LAST, First, Middle. If the name provided on your form i765 is a married name, please include a copy of your marriage certificate and a complete English translation if the document was not originally issued in English."

I have 87 days. I found a name affidavit on Google.. I'm just confused as to the meaning of "full legal name" is that the name I was given at birth? Or the name I have now (married). I want to send this out tomorrow if possible.

Your full legal name is your current name and would be something like Susan Jane Smith, if Smith is your new married name. So you'd put it and all your previous names like this: Smith, Susan Jane; Baker, Susan Jane; etc. If it were me, I'd have to put my current married name, my previous married name, and my maiden name. Good luck! This seems a pretty easy and quick fix (I hope!). :)

I emailed my congressman a few days ago about supporting my EAD to be expedited due to a current job offer I have. I got an email reply from his office today with a forwarded email from the Congressional Unit at the NBC stating they have passed my case onto the expedite team for further review and adjudication. I know it can be a bit hit and miss with this stuff but will be interesting to see if anything happens. I never thought I'd say this but I've never wanted to work so bad in my life!

Good luck! Ours is still "initial review." I'm feeling very "over it," and am starting to embrace the whole house husband thing. LOL Maybe not having a dual-income household isn't so bad. ;)

Yea I know what you mean but there's only so much cleaning one can do before losing their mind. Maybe I should just accept my fate that the government just doesn't want me to work! ?
