To the ones who already had their biometrics appointment, did you guys get any updates on your case? I created an account on USCIS website to store my receipt numbers and track my case, it shows that my case hasn't been touched since august 8th ( when my biometrics letter was issued). Being optimistic as I am, I expected some movement right after biometrics appointment :goofy:

I have entered USA as an F1 student in December 2010 and have maintained my status ever since. In August 2013 I met my husband (L) . We got engaged in March 2014 (L) And married in July.

It's funny you should ask, because just last night I was contemplating how I'm not nearly as uptight about this process as I was the K1. Once we got our NOA2 and our biometrics letter, I relaxed 1000%. Right now, we're totally focused on our upcoming wedding (the public one. no one knows we already got married) and rearranging the house to make it "home" for him and his son. I must say that I will be very happy when he's bringing in an income (as will he; he feels odd not working), but it's been GREAT having someone who's home and doing everything necessary to run things. Best. Husband. Ever. :luv:

Biometrics appt is next Friday. I'll likely check the USCIS website after that. :)

It's been over a week since my bio appt and there has been no movement in the force :(

It might just be that your local office is a little busier than mine. From the older threads, I saw that timing varies a lot so hang in there! Here is the complete message I got:

Your I485, APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS is now ready for interview scheduling. When scheduling is complete, you will receive a notice with a time and place for your interview. If you have not received the notice within 30 days of the date the notice is mailed, please call customer service at 1-800-375-5283 for further assistance. Please check our website at www.uscis.gov for further updates on your case. If you move, please use our Change of Address online tool to update your case with your new address.

If your case status indicates that you are currently in this step, you have either been scheduled for an interview or are in line to be scheduled for an interview. The amount of time your application will remain in this step will vary by office and is largely determined by the number of cases ahead of yours. The interview notice will have specifics about time, location and anything you will need to bring to your interview. If your application remains pending beyond our normal processing times (as shown below) please contact our national customer service center at 1-800-375-5283.

Adjusting as adult child of US Citizen.
