I currently earn $32,000 annually. How much, if at all, do I need to have in my checking and savings accounts when my fiancé goes to the interview and presents my financial support documents. Do I need to have a savings account balance?

It does not state any amount. But I recommend having one just so they can see where your money is going. They are mostly interested in your last year taxes and your current income, which you are above the 125% or 100% depending on your situation

You are not required to have any savings. You just have to meet the minimum income requirements

Thank you! With paying for the wedding and traveling expenses I haven't kept anything in savings so I wasn't sure if they needed to see a certain amount when I ask for my bank info.

Haha we understand. Even though we are above our poverty guideline, we still provided the bank info. We got a bank letter saying the amount, before we end up spending it for the visit and interview
