Hello guys and congratulations to everyone that has been approved recently! I was wondering, how long does it take for the case to be received at NVC? My petition got approved on New Years eve and it was sent on the 9th of January to the department of state for visa processing. Ive seen people gotten approved later than me and their case is already on the way to the embassy. I'm just wondering how NVC will notify me? Whats steps do I need to take right now? I already gathered all my documents we are just waiting for NVC to receive my file. Do I keep calling to get the "Case #"? I don't understand the process that I'm in right now. Thanks in advance!

You should give NVC a call 603.334.0700 if you haven't already. That's the best way to find out of they have it. They say they send a letter out but that seems to be inconsistent according to other members. Get you case number and then you can track the rest of the process here.visa status Good luck.

Last night I woke up to find an email from USCIS!!!! WE WERE FINALLY APPROVED!!!!!

I'm sooo excited that I don't know what to do with myself lol.

Our NOA1 - July 10, 2014. Our NOA2 - February 4, 2015.

Better late than never!!! :dancing:

I still can't believe it! I had given up hope but now we need to start getting things in order.

If anyone has any advice on what we need to do next, please let me know!
