This is the first time ever I got to really start the new day. It is freezing here in Washington, DC.

It's freezing here too! My car radio hasn't even been working these past couple of days until about 10 minutes into my ride, when the car is warmed up. I've been having to sing to myself!

Exciting news today - they've switched to a new brand of coffee here at work. It's the small pleasures, you know?

I guess I will need to actually get moving and drive to work . . . I still see some ice in the trees but it looks like the roadswill be easier to drive . . . not so much "bumper car" commuting today. OK . . . off I go!!

It's flippin cold in Missouri too. I am soooo tready for spring. Kids gets to go back to school today after being out since last Friday and they really don't want to get moving this morning. (Me either ) I want warm weather! Hope everyone has a great day!

SNOW here in Raleigh NC this morning....and 28 degrees F. Saturday it was 77 F (Yes....77!!).

Good morning everyone! It's a nice cool day today. I think the high is somewhere in the 40s.

Left my house this morning, after getting up 5 min. earlier to make toast, and ended up leaving my toast on the table! Oh how I hate forgetting things like that! So I had to stop and grab something to eat and the only thing I saw was pop-tarts. So that's what I have to eat. So much for my new lifestyle. At least I remembered my orange!Anyway, I came into work this morning to find out one of my co-workers called out and another had the day off. So now there's only two of us working behind the teller line. This ought to be a fun day.

geez, I slept late! it's a whopping 41 and rainy here today - I feel ya, Saturnman - it was 77 on Saturday in my neck of the woods too - at least it's a little warmer today than yesterday.

mornin ladies. just chkin in on this sunny but frigid last day in new york. i am finishing my packing and going to see a movie with my little sister and spending some time with dae and then tomorrow it is off to Newark to fly away. i miss my hubby so much ughhhh. cant wait til Saturday evening!!! i hope i will get net again soon over there. take care everyone.

Well, this has been fun and interesting. I can't add Moh to anything without his SSN. We did go down and get that applied for yesterday, discovering immigration had entered his DOB incorrectly, and that they gave him the temporary work authorization which was stamped on the back of his I-94 and stapled over so we couldn't see it. Moh hadn't requested it so we assumed he didn't have it. The guy at the soc office said the number isn't necessary to add him to anything as long as he has his A number. WELL... try telling that to anyone else. So I guess I'm stuck waiting out receiving his card. They just implemented a new system on Monday where they file for the number electronically so he should be assigned his number by Monday with the card to follow. We also discovered our marriage certificate (official copy) arrived yesterday so I get to go back and change my name when I get my 1/2 day off next week. Slow as mud trying to get all this accomplished. I want to get those AOS papers sent off by the end of the month. But, Mohammed is a happy camper that he can look for work and plans to start tomorrow.

Well right now with taxes I am so annoyed my employer said they would have our w2 by the 12th and then they changed it to the 22nd. I am planning a trip to Morroco with it. I know I have a enough time however I just hate waiting. Today should be interesting, I love Thrusdays because tomorrow I get off and I go to Ju'mah. I wonder do a lot of you ladies go to Ju'mah or take Fridays off? I was thinking of returning to Philly, I miss it so much up there. The Muslims community is awesome and I miss all of my friends.

Good morning all. Looks like we have some pretty cold weather all around the states. Here in Southern Cali, we actually had snow in the most unusual places and since noone here knows how to drive in it, they closed some of our freeways for like a half inch of snow. The funniest part is, we dont have any salt trucks so we have to wait for it to melt. Hmmm. Come on sunnnn.
