Western Union money transfers aren't advisable for high fraud consulates because it can have the appearance of "paying" the USC for immigration benefits.

FYI, I am female and also the beneficiary. My fiance is the USC.

Okay in your case the man sending support to his wife abroad no wahala. Sorry for the misunderstanding.

@ S_R I have no idea why it's so, I will change it. Thanks.

@Ebunoluwa, what if the Western Union transfer is the other way round as in, the USC is the sender, I believe it doesn't show anything negative.

We have chat logs from '11 till date, fiance has only visited once due to work and school, that was some months back, we also have photos together, with friends and family. Have letters and cards we've exchanged too. And we plan to include them all. I hope it isn't going to be too much.

If you are asked by the IO about western union transfers you better tell them the truth. They may even go as far as asking if you guys have ever gotten into an argument...never paint a rosy picture is all I'm saying. Give it to them straight or they will chew you up and spit you out. Body language is their forte!

Most beneficiaries according to VJ maybe ...you can't base your assumption with data based solely on folks who sign up on visa journey .

I would say VJ is likely to be indicative, if there is a venue for Males sponsoring Females then I am not aware of it.

From Nigeria men are usually petitioned by woman that have never lived in the country. Woman on the other hand are usually petitioned by men that got to the US divorced the person that petitioned them then went back home to bring their sweetheart over.

This will not be over quickly. You will not enjoy this.

Consulate Received : July 30,2014 Transfer to right embassy complete.

Interview Date : Oct 22, 2014

Interview Result : AP , requesting another PC (not expired) and certified divorce decree (was submitted)Stokes interview via phone for petitioner 4 hrs after interview.

Oct 23 email notification visa approved.
Visa Received : Nov. 3 , 2014 VISA IN HAND.

US Entry : Nov. 21, 2014

Marriage : Dec 27, 2014

AOS send : May 12, 2015, received May 14, 2015 USPS priority

Email &text : May 18, 2015, check cashed May 19,2015, return receipt May 21, 2015 stamped USCIS Lockbox, NOA1 (3x) May 22,2015

Biometrics : June 1, 2015 letter received for appointment June 8, 2015, successful walk-in June 1, 2015

RFE : June 12, 2015 for income not meeting guideline. Income does ( ! ) exceed guideline.

RFE response : June 26, 2015 returned with a boat load full of financial evidence.

UPDATE: July 5, 2015 updated on all 3 cases, RFE received June 30, 2015.

Service request : Aug 12, 2015, letter received that it will be processed within 90 days from receipt of RFE.

UPDATE: Aug 24, 2015, EAD card being produced/ordered. ( 102 days from AOS receipt day and 55 days from RFE response received.) Thank you Jesus !

July 21, 2017 HOME VISIT.  Went well. Topic thread in AOS forum.
Waiting to skip ROC and get 10 yr GC due to over 2 year while pending AOS
AOS APPROVED Oct. 4, 2017 * Green card in hand Oct 13, 2017 !!!!!

First K1 denied after 16 month of AP. Refiled. We are a couple since 2009. Not a sprint but a matter of endurance.

He visited 2 months ago, spent 17 days. I haven't visited before.

How you know this case is kosher.

How do you know it is not ? Validating a poster that I am personally addressing my comment to is called tact and

until I pick up on something off or fishy I address it as though it is genuine.

Show me an obvious scammer and see my claws come out and watch my fangs grow.

I am sure you have seen me commenting in that manner before too, dancing on the edge of a VJ ban.

We all have different perception and perspective and it reflects in our writing style.

I am a person who believes in 'innocent until proven guilty' not in 'guilty until proven innocent.'

I also see the glass as half full and chose to live my life as such and treat people kindly.
