Yes I haven't receive any email from them I just kept on checking the status online. Haha oh I tried to call the uscis as well one of the lady said that even though that it says that they have mailed it already I still have to wait for the usps to pick it up.

No I don't have the tracking number. I'm not sure how you get the tracking. My lawyer filed my case for me. I tried calling USCIS customer service, they said they don't have any tracking info and to call them back if I don't get it after 30 days.

You probably will get a status update on USCIS or an email.

I put down the date that they sent us an email stating that it was approved, not when we actually received the hard copy. Hope that helps out.

Wow, you have the same NOA date as us. Did you fill in the date it said on the letter or the date you recieved the letter in the post?

I got my EAD/AP approved Sept 11. I hope there will be some updates for me next week (hopefully delivery of it). By the way, I have a question, will DMV accept EAD card for a valid ID? coz I wanted to apply for a driving permit.

I didn't get a text or email (though I signed up for it) but I checked this morning and my status changed to card production for EAD and AP is in 'post decision activity'. Hope the combo card comes together though... though I can delay my travel plans.

Any idea when they will send the tracking? Super happy this morning!

They should accept it. I did the written portion of my DL and they printed me a permit and said to come back closer to when EAD is approved to get my driving one done. They said it's because without it, they will only print an ID up to the expiry of your visa and they normally don't print a normal DL card if it's less than 60 days.

My guess is that your card will be mailed Wednesday or Thursday this week - you'll get an email / text in the morning to say it's been mailed and another text about 20:30hrs to give you the tracking number. My card arrived the day after it was mailed :-)

Perfect! My employer is hoping I start work on the 29th but is ok with Oct 1st too (just to be safe).

I was just hoping to travel to Canada for Canadian Thanksgiving in October but can always adjust my travel plans. =)

Hello everyone! first of all congrats to all of you who received or got your EAD approved!

I am still waiting for mine. I had my biometrics appointment on August 22nd, so I am not too surprised I haven't been approved yet.

I was wondering if any of you knew if I could take the driver's permit while I wait? I live in Boston and the only thing I can find is that I need to have my I-94 not expired. That is obviously not the case, since I am waiting for the AOS based on a K1 visa. Has any of you any experience with this?

Depending which DMV you go to and who ends up helping you, even if you don't have the hard copy of EAD yet, they should be able to let you do the written portion. They'd just give you a printed permit... though I'm not sure if you can do it now if your 1-94 expires. I did mine in July and I entered on K1 and married end of June.

Each state has its own rules but yes, it should be accepted. My wife used it for her Washington, DC driver license.

It will also serve as your proof of legal presence in the U.S. Keep in mind most states will have your new ID/driver license expire the day that your EAD expires.

Ohio driving test passed this morning! It was easy and made the British test look like a PhD in comparison!
