You have to wait on the biometrics letter to try to do the walk in. I'm in the same waiting situation for biometrics letter.

Yes you still get RFE after NOA1.. The NOA1 is just a notice that they got ur packet and will give you your Case Number.

Congratulations! I thought I'd seen another July (K1) filer getting approved last week but I was mistaken as they were adjusting from an F1 visa. It looks like you're the first! YAY!

Congrats. I'm eagerly checking USCIS status check every couple of hours. Really wanna get mine too. But no change from Initial Review since my biometrics. How long from your biometrics until they start production of your card?

I think all those with a interview date are adjusting from visas other than K1's. I wish my AOS status would move to 'Testing & Interview' - I'm still stuck on 'Acceptance'.

How is everyone doing?

We came from our interview prep this afternoon with our lawyer for our interview next week. He said that since our local office, Santa Ana, has hired plenty of new immigration officers, they do not have the power to approve a case on the spot lately. They still need time to consult with their supervisors which may take days/weeks/months. Ugh!! What a bummer cause we were banking on getting approved on the spot! :(

Biometrics 26th August. It took nearly 30 days from NOA1 for the letter to event come for the biometrics.

Although I remember for my K-1 it took ages to get the NOA1 then 2 weeks after that I got my NOA2. So maybe I will get lucky again?

Okay. Semi good news...

My EAD has been approved and is in production... But my AP is still in initial review. I thought both of them got approved simultaneously as it sometimes is printed on the one EAD card I have heard.

Is anyone else on the same boat? or anyone heard of it? I looked online. Some people have been through the same... Hoping for the best.
