Hi I am just in need of information how my son can follow me to live with me in usa . I came to usa on a K1 visa in 2010 and was married within the 3 months allowed and have been living I the usa married since then and have my green card, I had to leave my 2 children in Australia when I left in 2010 with their mother 1 of which now is 21 and lives in her own home and the other is nearly 18 and still lives with his mother and his mother is increasing making it difficuilt to live there and want to come to live here with me after he finishes school in a few months. What steps do I need to take to bring him here to live with me? My wife is an American citizen and I plan on starting to become one in the next year cause ive heard to wait 5 years since getting the green card to become a citizen but I need to find a quick way to bring my son here with me cause he has nowhere to go and live in Australia if he gets kicked out of his home

It is true that you only have to wait for three years after you get your GC, to apply for citizenship.
As for your son, there are some guidelines in this site, like this one http://www.visajourney.com/content/childpet , you can get an idea from.

You can also use the search engine of the site for more examples or other member's stories to be advised from.

Good luck!

It is too late for a follow to join, that has to be done within 1 year of your coming. You can obtain citizenship or your spouse can file for him as a step-parent.
