8 RFEs

well, i was taking a nap this afternoon and my cell phone kept on ringing indicating I have received an email ( i receive my emails on my cell phone), the only problem is that it must have rang over 5 times. i got up from my nap and realized i was late for an apointment so i got in my car and started driving and i checked my cell phone and i saw some emails from some CRIS??? it didn't ring a bell so i started cussing spam email. then i hit me that this was USCIS, so my heart started beating fast, could be that i was transfered to CSC or is it an RFE, i sure hope it's not the latter. now, i am curious, but i was still on my to my apointment and i had deleted my emails from my cell phone. i just got back home and read my email and i saw that i received 8 emails (and still receiving) from USCIS and they are telling me that they sent me an RFE.

damn them, 8 emails to tell me they are sending me an RFE and they do not even say what for??

now all i can do is wait.

Hopefully, it won't be for anything serious. Might just be for a copy of a document you forgot.

Don't stress until you get the RFE. Good luck for a speedy approval after you return the RFE material.

I sure wish I knew why they email so many times. I received multiple emails from them everytime too.

it really is not stressing out but more of being anxious now to see what they want.

i was thinking that whatever they ask for, maybe i should send it to them 8 times. what do u think? jk

I received 16 emails for RFE's at 11 oclock at night on a Sunday !!! 8 for my I360 and 8 for my EAD.

you must be really special to have someone working on your case on a sunday night at almost midnight. lol

how long after the emails where sent out did u receive the snail mail??

I received my RFE about a week after I got the e-mail. The most common RFE is for I-864 stuff. That's what I got (tax return stuff) and it was for stuff I already sent. I just sent it in again and they accepted it. If you're positive you sent in everything, that's probably what they sent you.

We had the same thing happen, We got an RFE for I-864 stuff already sent. So we re-sent it and all was good.

I thought it was rather crazy lol. Maybe because my Congressperson was involved. Really I don't have a clue. It took about a week for my old attorney to receive them. then several days to be forwarded to my new one. Again crazy since Vermont have been notified about 3 times that I have a new attorney. Argghhhhhh
