today at the Embassy in Belgium ...

Army trucks in front of the embassy, then a special security agency, then inside the building id check, metal dectector, etc, looks like Iraq!

Friendly people though.

Then the papers .... had everything with me but they asked for 3 photographs instead of 2.

I had the paper with me that requested 2, so it was their mistake and okay.

Then the consul saw me, looked through the papers ... gave me back my cosponsors papers ... "you don't need this" ...

waited ...

I can't give you the visa today because the verification system is down, i called Washington, can you come back tommorow to pick up your visa?

Give your cell# in case its not ready so I can call you.

Thats it, no questions asked, even my 150-page supporting evidence for our relationship she didn't review because she simply didn't ask for anything.

But I did have a phone call its not going to be ready tommorow ... I have to wait for them to contact me ... but in theory im approved now right? \o/

Unless something pops up in the Verification system, I think it's fair to say "You are approved"! Congratulations. Now, just wait to receive the Visa and you'll be able to breathe easy!

April 12, 2007 - Apply for SS card with married name

April 20, 2007 - Received SS card

AOS

June 4, 2007 - Mailed AOS

June 6, 2007 - USCIS received

June 11, 2007 - NOA1 for I-485

July 18, 2007 - Biometrics completed

July 20, 2007 - Case transferred from MSC to CSC

July 31, 2007 - AOS Approved - 57 days - Without an Interview!

Aug 06, 2007 - Received Green Card in the mail today!

Jan 8, 2009 @ 8:18PM - Our son was born tonight !!

I-751 - Remove Conditions

July 11, 2009 - Certified Mail to VSC I-751 Package

July 14, 2009 - Check cleared bank

July 20, 2009 - NOA1 & 1 yr extension - Receipt date is July 14. Case# assigned

Sept 1, 2009 - Biometrics completed

Nov 25, 2009 - I-751 is approved. No Interview.

Dec 14, 2009 - 10yr Green Card arrived !

27 Apr 07: Got Married

14 May 07: Received SSN

04 June 07: GOT A JOB!!

16 June 07: Wedding Reception in San Francisco

13 August 07: Got new EAD

23 November 07: Adjustment of Status approved

25 December 07: First white Christmas EVER!!!!

27 Apr 08: First Wedding Anniversary

4 July 08: Mt Rushmore for 4th July

27 April 09: Second Wedding Anniversary

October 09: Hoping to visit Australia

Dec 12th, 2006 E-mail from NVC : Petition forwarded to US Embassy in Jakarta, Indonesia

Dec 14th, 2006 E-mail from US Embassy in Jakarta : Packet 3

Jan 08th, 2007 Medical exam! --- Done! Dunno the result tho......... =/

Feb 06th, 2007 Sent packet 3 back to the Embassy with DHL!!!

Feb 15th, 2007 Packet 4 (By phone...)

Feb 22nd, 2007 Interview date!! - VISA APPROVED!!!!!

Apr 15th, 2007 POE : Detroit

May 04th, 2007 Barefoot wedding at Hutchinson Island, FL
