With regard to the passport thing, where is the passport tracker link you speak of? I can't seem to see it? It's just that, if my guess is right, I'll be taking the oath at the next scheduled ceremony in St Louis on October 31st. My flight home is booked for November 19th, so I'm wondering if 19 days is enough time for a regular passport application to be completed or if I may have to utilize the same express service you did?

Has everyone's status switched from Initial Review to In Line for Interview a few days after they completed biometrics? Its been over 2 months since I did my biometrics and the status still shows Initial Review. If that is not normal what should I do? I did receive the yellow letter about 2 weeks after my biometrics but I'm trying to figure this out since it seems like everyone is getting that status change soon after their biometrics.

Hi everyone, my interview was today and I passed! The whole process too around 15 minutes. The IO was a very nice lady, She went through all the yes or no questions in the form and then she asked me the civic questions:

1) what is freedom of religion?

2) name one state that borders Canada

3) what ocean is on the East Coast of the United States?

4) when was the Constitution written?

5) when must all men register for selective service?

6) how many U.S senators are there?

After I answered the questions she asked me to read : "what do we pay to the government? And to write down : we pay taxes! Then she congratulated me and said I was approved and I will be receiving the date and place of my oath ceremony in the mail. It was a nice experience and I'm glad it is over.

08/05/2009 is the GC date and check cashed was 06/21/2014. Hopefully someone can explain this in line for interview thing and if something is wrong if its not switched to that. Thanks!!!

Thank you Sal79. I am not asking about the interview itself, I am just wondering about this online status change. How come it seems to change within a couple days for many people saying In Line for Interview and in my case it still says Initial Review after over 2 months. Probably not a big deal but would love to know if someone has an idea.

Hi everybody! I just had my interview as well and I passed!! The whole process was very pleasant. The officer was a very nice lady and did the exam first place. She asked me 6 questions, and I answered them all correct. She then asked me to read a sentence and to write one. She then went over the form, just to make sure everything is correct. She would throw a personal question here and there, like what my hubby does, how much is our rent, but that's about it. I thought she would wanna see proof of marriage, since when I applied for naturalization, I only submitted official IRS transcripts, but she didn't ask anything. The only documents she looked at were: DL, passport, and GC. That's it. I was also worried about my driving ticket situation. I had a couple tix that I didnt pay and my dl was revoked because of that for a year. I'm in a good standing now, but I never mentioned it in the form. When she asked me have I ever been arrested question, I said no, but brought up my ticket story. She said technically I had to mention it in the form. And thanked me for being honest. That's it. She said I will get my oath notice in the mail.
